Bankside at National Hall is located directly on the Saugatuck River on Wilton Road (CT Route 33), a short walk from Westport’s downtown shopping district located on Main Street and the Post Road (US Route 1). Downtown Westport retail offerings includes many of the leading national retailers, interesting local shops and boutiques and over twenty restaurants and café’s. It also includes Bedford Square, the mixed-use retail, restaurant and residential development which opened in Spring of 2017. 

Bankside is adjacent to National Hall, a mixed-use office complex offering connectivity and direct access from Bankside, as well as easy access to National Hall's notable restaurants and cafes, including Bartaco, OKO and The 'Port.

Downtown Westport also is home to many cultural amenities and attractions, including the Levitt Pavilion, The Westport Country Playhouse, Westport Library, and events offered by the Westport Cinema Initiative, as well as numerous other cultural institutions.

Bankside is also less than two miles from exit 17 off Interstate 95, exit 41 of the Merritt Parkway and Westport’s Metro North Train Station which offers express service to New York City’s Grand Central Station in under one hour.
